BoardStar enables nonprofit Board Directors to overcome challenges through training, consultation, podcasts, networking, and access to resources.
BoardStar offers workshops, clinics, custom training sessions, and presentations to increase organizational effectiveness through leadership development. Local consultants are trained and engaged, sending additional knowledge through the nonprofit community.
BoardStar's galaxy of programs and services is designed to strengthen the common denominator at the very heart of every nonprofit organization: the Board of Directors.

Pat has provided management consultation to more than 3,500 nonprofit organizations. For more than 38 years, her work has strengthened the overall capacity of nonprofit organizations. She established BoardStar as a model for nonprofit Boards across the nation.
Sam Macklem, CFRE
Governance Consultant
Sam brings more than 30 years of nonprofit consultation experience to BoardStar, having consulted with more than 100 nonprofit organizations. She holds her Certified Fund Raising Executive designation, and works daily to further develop new nonprofit leaders throughout the community.
Robert Meiksins
Board Placement Coordinator
Rob's work in the nonprofit community spans some 25 years, and includes roles as a Board Director and consultant with many organizations to support strategic planning and development roles. Rob facilitates BoardStar's recruitment and matching services to pair nonprofit Boards with individuals seeking an opportunity to serve.
